*I will continue to NOT send reminders for students who did not complete their Quill assignments. Please check PowerSchool for missing assignments.

I have created a folder called Daily Assignments in Schoology. If your student is absent, work is there for the day and expected to be made up immediately.

Monday-Open short story quiz on “The Landlady,” Aesop’s Fables activity on theme/main idea, Vocabulary, Homeroom Day

Tuesday-Short Story “The Pie,”  Project on the Short Story, Short Story Map, Vocabulary

Wednesday-”A Monster Calls” Quiz, Mugshot, Daily Writing, Vocabulary

Thursday-Performance Matters Test/Assessment (no need to study), Short Story, Comprehension Questions

Friday-Reading Day to prepare for Book Report (in-class assignment only)

IMPORTANT: Essay #1 is due September 19th. It is to be done in class.

Book Report #1 is due September 22nd. This will also be done in class.

Students should be reading 15-20 minutes per night on the book of their choice.

QUILL is due Friday of every week.
