February 26-March 1

Good morning beautiful families.  I was able to join my husband yesterday for a little hiking and embracing the beauty of our state.  We visited the Sand Cove area of the Red Cliffs Preserve.  Our love for being here is never ending!

 What a fun week is ahead for us!

Book Report Part 1 for General English 7 was due last week.  Please make sure your student has completed the assignment.  Part 2 we will complete in class on Monday.  On Tuesday, February 27th during class, students will present their books to groups.  No pressure, just chatting about books.

To celebrate our students' success on completion of the assignments, we will have a game day on Friday. If you are willing to donate some yummies, please email me directly at cindy.matejka@washk12.org.

English 7 Honors

This week is Valentine's Week.  I am planning a "who stole the love letter" activity with your student as we figure out the mystery in class.  It should be hilarious!

Tuesday students will complete a RACER paragraph activity.  

Thursday I would like to do a "share your hobby" day with our class.  Mine is definitely photography.  I'll send a reminder on Wednesday.
